Services
Flexible and friendly 24 hour service
Twenty-four hour service
is available from Aberdeen and Glasgow branches. We have built
up a good
relationship with many private customers, local authorities,
hospitals, colleges, architects, consultants and builders
throughout Scotland, and commit
ourselves to both theirs and their clients needs.
New lift solutions
Standard passenger lifts will often provide an adequate and effective
solution for most disabled access needs. However, in some cases,
a specialist system - such as a platform lift or a scissor-lift
- will be a more appropriate or cost-efficient way to provide
access. We offer expert
advice in this area and a wide range of practical solutions.
Upgrading existing lifts
If you need to upgrade an existing lift to conform with Disabled
Access requirements (adding Braille landing buttons or a voice
synthesizer, for example), we can supply a wide range of modernization
components to help you complete the job. Most of our lifts
can also be supplied with a self-supporting steel shaft (ideal
for older buildings, as it eliminates the need to fix to brickwork
or timber frames that may not be up to the task).
Specials lift systems
Not every need can be met with a standard
solution. Architectural considerations may sometimes require
an unusual finish, or a
creative use of space or building design. Where this is the case,
we can provide a completely flexible manufacturing service, tailoring
the dimensions, appearance and mechanical specification of the
lift to suit your requirement.
Scenic Lifts
A lift isn't always just about moving people. It can (and sometimes
should) be a feature of the building in its own right. Glass
lifts can provide a combination of striking looks and perfect
all-round visibility - ideal for making the most of an open
hotel foyer or shopping centre atrium. Other lifts can be individually-manufactured
to suit a particular architectural requirement or design style.
